Academic Best Practices @ NDIM

At NDIM we strive to educate and empower each student so that they are able to excel and transform as future leaders and managers. In order to do so we ensure that we conduct FDPs, MDPs related to teaching, research, administration and personal development. At NDIM a lot of emphasis is put on a holistic development of both Students as well as teachers which enriches and induces an All round Learning Environment and an Academic Eco-System. The faculties are urged to present academic papers, improve teaching pedagogy and share learnings with our Students.

The students are given subject assignments and urged to actively participate in Role Plays, Case Studies, Management Games, Quizzes, Student Seminars /Webinars, Industrial Visits and Annual Fests.

Outcome-based education

In NDIM, we strictly adhere to outcome based education. The aim of education is to prepare learners for life in society and for performing tasks. It is the intention of the outcome-based approach to focus as much on the process of learning and the final outcome or result, as on the knowledge and skills.

ICT enabled teaching methodology

Our claim to top BBA institute is well backed by our ICT enabled teaching methodology that puts us in a ready position to adapt to the changes offered by the ever dynamic world around us. We are prepared to take education to the next level of online teaching platforms ensuring more productivity out of the given time slots, while maintaining sanctity of academics as the most cherished human endeavour.

Remedial Classes

Students with different preference patterns and understanding levels perform differently in examinations which impact their overall merit. We at NDIM ensure that Remedial classes are offered to such students for helping them in performing better in academics.

Classroom Observations

The institution has set stringent policy for classroom observation and follows it effectively. Hard copy of the same is duly maintained by the academic committee to provide critical feedback if any.

Bridge Classes

Students from different streams enter the BBA Program. Bridge courses are offered for a seamless entry into the curriculum. NDIM offers Bridge Classes for Numerical subjects to the students who are observed to be in need of extra attention in such classes.

Enrollment in MOOCs

MOOCS are the call of the future. NDIM places due importance in updating the skill set of the associated students and teachers. Students and faculty members are time to time encouraged for enrolling in online courses provided by NPTEL/ SWAYAM/ UDEMY/ COURSERA etc.

Feedback System

NDIM regularly collects feedback from Students, Parents, Employers and Alumni and all the responses are duly analysed in order to create an academic environment enhanced by the suggestions of our real stake holders. This way we are have been able to constantly and consistently deliver the expectations of all the people associated with us.

Memberships of DMA, AIMA, Global impact

NDIM is a member of many affluent bodies and participates in and organises various activities like Expert lecture series etc to ensure that students are benefitted by their exposure and help strengthen their subject knowledge. Expert academicians contribute to the overall academic understanding of the students by regularly delivering lectures through these forums.

Classroom Interaction Style

We at NDIM follow instructional approach based on modelling, demonstration, and mentoring as opposed to telling or giving information to students. Teachers give students opportunities to become problem solvers who take responsibility for their own thinking. As we shift our practices toward a coaching model of interaction, we engage students in high-level questioning and responding through the use of active learning strategies.

Effective Classroom Management

NDIM focuses on Effective classroom management by organizing time, classroom environment, and space for learning needs. We Implement structure and routines for productive learning experiences. We provide a combination of whole-group and small-group instruction, paired activities, team projects, and independent work.

Self-Directed Learning

At NDIM, Teachers are encouraged to enable students to become self-directed in their learning. Through modeling and demonstration, teachers show students how to become problem solvers. Through guided practice, teachers help students learn to select the appropriate problem-solving strategy for the appropriate occasion. Once students can self-regulate problem-solving behaviors, they are able to continue to learn and progress on their own.

NDIM is a brand in education and that totally comes from the fact that we have been consistently dedicated towards enhancement of our processes and outcomes. We assure that we will continue to deliver quality education and the banner of all those associated with us will always be held high!
